Phase 0

Phase 0 serves as the brief opening sequence of The Cloud of Darkness (Chaotic). The raid handles two initial Blade of Darkness casts before mitigating a heavy raidwide hit from Deluge of Darkness, which transitions the encounter directly into Phase 1.

At the start of the encounter, the boss delivers a single auto-attack before immediately casting Blade of Darkness.

• Raised Hand: If she raises one of her hands, move to the opposite side of the arena to avoid a large donut-shaped AoE.
• Dual Blades: If she braces herself and summons two blades directly in front of her, move away from the boss to avoid a point-blank AoE.

Getting hit by either variation inflicts a 15-second physical Bleed debuff. Tanks take minimal direct damage.

Following the two casts of Blade of Darkness, the boss casts Deluge of Darkness, a massive raidwide attack that inflicts a heavy Bleed debuff across the entire raid.

• Target Mitigation: Ensure at least Reprisal, Feint, and Addle are applied to the boss before the cast finishes.
• Party Mitigation: Individual parties should supplement with additional party-wide mitigation and shields to survive the initial hit and tick damage.
